  • A portfolio of shipped product work rather than concept pieces
  • Can own a design system and the tokens on the code side of it
  • Treats accessibility as a constraint, not a review step
  • Can show confidence and uncertainty in an interface instead of hiding them

What happens next

  1. 01A 30-minute conversationWith someone you would actually work with. No recruiter screen, no take-home before we have spoken.
  2. 02A paid work sessionFour hours, paid at contractor rate, on a problem close to real work. You keep whatever you build.
  3. 03A deep-dive on your craftNinety minutes on something you have done before. We ask about the decisions and the parts that went wrong.
  4. 04A decision within a weekOffer or not, with written feedback either way. We have never taken longer and do not intend to start.

We pay for the work session at contractor rate. Asking for unpaid labour from someone who already has a job is not a fair trade.
