What we look for

  • Senior engineering experience in AI, data or product work
  • Can assess someone without needing them to think the way you do
  • Writes feedback a rejected candidate can actually use
  • Available for two to five sessions a week

What happens next

  1. 01A 30-minute conversationWith someone you would actually work with. No recruiter screen, no take-home before we have spoken.
  2. 02A paid work sessionFour hours, paid at contractor rate, on a problem close to real work. You keep whatever you build.
  3. 03A deep-dive on your craftNinety minutes on something you have done before. We ask about the decisions and the parts that went wrong.
  4. 04A decision within a weekOffer or not, with written feedback either way. We have never taken longer and do not intend to start.

We pay for the work session at contractor rate. Asking for unpaid labour from someone who already has a job is not a fair trade.
